Danaan Kennels

We are exhibitors and a small breeding kennel of Pugs and Basset Hounds.

 We are breeding for health, conformation, and temperment. We are located in the foothills of the Adirondacks Mountains in Northern New York.  We love to share our passion for this breed with you and your family.

We are now testing our Pugs for Suseptiblity to Pug Dog Encephalitis (PDE) as we get the reports in from U of California Davis we will post them in each dogs photo album. It is not a guarantee your pug will not get PDE, but it is an aid in our breeding so we can produce pugs with the lowest risk of getting it.

Zsa Zsa won a 4 point major (Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex) at Syracuse NY. We are so proud of her.

We do require that all persons interested in one of our pups please , meet us in person, meet the our dogs in person, have many phone calls with us,  and pick up your pup in person or we will deliver the pup to you...in person.
